Vitamin D and Covid

FYI

Most, >70%, of Americans are D deficient and it is virtually impossible to get it through sunlight exposure. I have a lot of info about this on my website.

It is a cheap, simple supplement which can’t be obtained in enough quantities from foods, even when fortified, to make a difference.

In addition, there is a big difference between adequate and optimum levels. Don’t shoot to just be above 30, the lower end of normal. Shoot for 50-70. In places where they do get enough sunlight, that is where their levels are.

Most people need 3000-5000 units a day of D3.

Stay safe and be well.
