The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is an amazing organization, not only by providing great healthcare to people through the Barnard Medical Center in Washington DC, but also by performing research on the benefits of a healthful, plant-based diet. They also do a lot of advocacy regarding animal rights and eliminating animal abuse. The founder and main physician is Dr. Neil Barnard and he has written many books on various topics regarding health and nutrition. Many are listed in the next section.
