This is what I saw when I looked in the mirror this morning!
Actually, I woke up with a sore left deltoid from the shot. Maybe a smidget worse than last time but certainly not debilitating. Very minimal headache and body ache when I woke up which resolved after some water and some exercise. Maybe it was from the vaccine, but more likely it was from the entire afternoon spent in the operating room staring down through magnifying glasses with a headlight pinching my skull while wearing 2 masks. I always get a bit stiff after a day like that. I had no symptoms other than arm soreness after the first two shots also.
A recent study of over 12,000 people who got a booster shows the same rate of side effects after the third shot as after the second. All typical side effects which cleared within a few days. Although antibody levels might wane, memory B and T cells persist for life so it is not surprising that if you had symptoms the first or second shots, you may have symptoms after the booster. No other significant adverse effects.
Stay safe and be well.
