Appreciation

Andrew Chuma One comment

A good friend of mine reached out yesterday to see how I was faring during this pandemic. It’s always great to hear from people and I appreciate the concern. She also shared with me a recent messgage from Pope Francis.

“Tonight before falling asleep
think about when we will return to the street.
When we hug again,
when all the shopping together will seem like a party.
Let’s think about when the coffees will return to the bar,
the small talk, the photos close to each other.
We think about when it will be all a memory
but normalcy will seem an unexpected and beautiful gift.
We will love everything that has so far seemed futile to us.
Every second will be precious.
Swims at the sea, the sun until late,
sunsets, toasts, laughter.
We will go back to laughing together.
Strength and courage.
See you soon! “

This pandemic will pass. Some will not make it through but most will and hopefully with a new appreciation for what we have. Hopefully we will appreciate more how much we are and everything else around us is interconnected and how much we impact one another.

Perhaps that renewed appreciation can start now.

Stay healthy and safe.
Enjoy your families.

FYI

Excellent summary about the status of Covid-19 worldwide and in the US written by Dr. Mark Hyman, head of the Functional Medicine program at the Cleveland Clinic. He does do a little self-promotion but thats OK. The Info is good.

As far as additional information for prevention, in addition tot he obvious stuff, there are some our there that are saying that Vitamin D mnay block or partially block the recptor for the virus.

Souldn;t hurt to take a little Vitsamion D3 anyway flr most people.

Stay safe and healthy.
