So there you go!

All this debate about hydroxychloroquin being a great drug.

Now there is a study from the US showing that not only did it not help, patients who took it actually did worse and had a higher death rate.

However, it was again a small study at one facility and was not double blinded and all the other things which makes a study significant.
Were these patients sicker to begin with? Was the dose lower? Lots of questions.

The point is that we have to stop focusing on the “magic pill” like we like to do and focus on prevention and health maintenance so that when you do get infected, since most of us will eventually, you can combat it easier. Don’t get me wrong. We should keep looking for treatments as well as developing a safe vaccine but don’t expect that anytime soon.

Stay safe and be well.
